Man hit and killed by train in Henderson County

SPOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a man is dead after being struck by a train in Henderson County.

Police say they were called to KY 1078N at around 8:00 p.m. Monday.

They say 45-year-old Teddy Williams, of Spottsville, was on the CSX tracks when he was hit by a passing CSX train.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say foul play is not suspected.
