UPDATE: Lexington man found dead in Laurel County was beaten

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man found dead in a Laurel County home on Wednesday was beaten to death.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says preliminary autopsy results show the cause of death for 51-year-old Terry Hammons was blunt force trauma to the head, body and other extremities.

Hammons’s body was discovered by a family member at a home on High More Road off Sinking Creek Road.

No arrests have been made in connection to Hammons’ death.
