Dozens Of Chickens Die In Harrison County Fire
An early-morning fire killed dozens of chickens in Harrison county.
Firefighters responded to a home off 1054 South in the town of Berry just after 1 a.m. Thursday.
When they arrived, they found a chicken coop on fire.
Firefighters said there were 30 chickens inside.
All were killed.
Firefighters said the owners placed lanterns inside the coop to keep the chickens warm and it caught the hay on fire.
