Police respond to shots fired near BCTC campus in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say they were called to a report of shots fired call near the Bluegrass Community and Technical College campus Wednesday.

The shooting happened in the parking lot across from the campus at the intersection of Booker Street and Newtown Pike. Police say officers found a pickup truck with at least two bullet holes in it. They say no one was hit.

According to police, the shooting does not appear to be random.

Police say the college did not go on lockdown.
