Pizza delivery driver robbed in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say two juveniles are in custody following a late-night robbery in Richmond.

According to the Richmond Police Department, a pizza delivery driver says he was making the delivery on Evansdale Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday when he was approached by two males.

He told police one of them was carrying a rifle and he struggled with them. The two stole the driver’s wallet, and the pizza he was delivering, according to police.

The driver suffered minor injuries in the struggle.

Police tracked the two suspects down. They say both juveniles confessed to the robbery.
