Bernie Sanders joins AT&T protestors before his rally

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, D-Vermont, joined protesting AT&T workers before heading to his rally on the City’s Public Plaza.

Over 20,000 workers are on strike because they said AT&T negotiated contracts in bad faith.

Sanders said he stands with the workers in their fight.

“You are standing up against the kind of greed that is destroying the working class of this country,” Sanders said to the crowd.

His rally was specifically targeted towards Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, highlighting what Sanders’ says is obstruction of the U.S. Senate.
