Boil water advisory issued in Beattyville

BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Division of Water has issued a boil water advisory for customers in Beattyville.

The department says the advisory has been issued as an precaution after a water line broke. They say crews are fixing to repair it.

Customers on Lower Twin Road are recommended to bring all water used for consuming to boil for three minutes before consuming. Boiling kills bacteria in the water.
