43rd annual Hillbilly Days festival underway in Pikeville

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Carnival rides and vendor booths have taken over downtown Pikeville for the 43rd annual Hillbilly Days festival.

The popular event is a collaboration between the City of Pikeville, Pike County, Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

There is ‘live’ music, entertainment, rides, vendor booths and food.  The festival will draw people from across the country and even the world.

The event runs through Saturday, April 13.
