Coroner: 1 dead following crash involving motorcycle on Versailles Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW via LEX NEWS) –

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office confirmed that one person is dead following an early morning crash on Thursday on Versailles Road involving a motorcycle.

According to the coroner’s office, 43-year-old Shawn Taylor Wilson died from multiple blunt force traumatic injuries due to the crash.

Lexington police say that one person has life-threatening injuries following a crash Thursday morning involving a motorcycle.

According to police, the crash happened just before 7 a.m. near the 1600 block of Versailles Road involving three vehicles and a motorcycle.

Police say their Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash, and the inbound lanes of Versailles Road are back open.
