5th annual Cutz-n-Curlz underway in Lexington, Winchester

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One group is making sure students are ready for school. The 5th annual Cutz-n-Curlz is taking part in two cities on Monday.

In Lexington, families can stop by Frederick Douglas High School until 3 p.m. In Winchester, First Baptist Church will be set-up until 2 p.m.

Volunteers say kids can stop by and receive a free haircut from area professionals, grab lunch and take part in several giveaways.

Organizers say all hair must be clean and dry.
