Officials locate body of 25-year-old who went missing after boat collision on Herrington Lake
MERCER COUNTY, y. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) The body of 25-year-old Nazar Svintizelskiy, who went missing following a boating collision on Herrington Lake on Saturday night, has been found.
According to the Mercer County Fire District, Svintizelskiy’s body will be taken to Frankfort for autopsy.
In a statement to social media, the district went on to send their condolences to his family and thanked the multiple teams involved in the search.
“It took tremendous teamwork for a horrible incident, and we thank everyone involved again,” MCFD said.
According to a GoFundMe set up by the family, Svintizelskiy’s father continues to recover from injuries sustained in the collision.
