Deputies: Knox Co. man arrested for trafficking
KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Artemus man was arrested after deputies searched his home and found scales along with used syringes, according to Knox County Sheriff deputies.
They say last week when officials arrived Michael Collett was jerking uncontrollably.
According to investigators Collett said he had been shot at and two women come into his home and pepper sprayed him.
Once deputies were inside the home they found a set of scales containing suspected methamphetamine, used syringes and a ledger with a hand written weight conversion chart, according to detectives.
Collett was charged with public intoxication, trafficking and possession.
