LPD: Man forced to make ATM withdrawals
LEXINGTON, KY. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a man was forced to drive around Lexington making cash withdrawals Friday morning.
According to police, the suspect pulled a box cutter on the victim, made him drive to ATMs and take out money.
The suspect then made the man drive to the Hampton Inn on Nicholasville Road.
That’s where the suspect jumped out of the car and ran off, according to police.
The victim called police from the parking lot of the hotel around 7:30 a.m.
Police say he suffered a cut to his hand.
According to police, the victim and the suspect knew each other.
Police are not releasing the name of the suspect.
