UPDATE: Berea Police name new K-9 “Leo”

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Berea Police said they chose the name “Leo” for their new K-9.

What’s in a name?  A lot, especially when it has to be decided upon in a hurry, which is why Berea Police are asking for the public’s help naming the department’s new K-9.

The department posted on its Facebook page that it needs a two-syllable name for its new German Shepherd.

The deadline to submit a suggestion is this Sunday, August 4, 2019.  Why the rush?  The dog begins its training the next day, August 5.
