Cal Says Cats Grew Sunday

The basketball Cats had a tough Providence team on their hands last night up in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center.

Friars never quit and never went away, but Coach Cal’s bunch finally pulled out a truly gritty win in style.

Oon several occasions, the Cats pushed the lead to double-digits, but Providence battled back until the end.

Four Cats in double figures…64 percent shooting on the night…75 percent from three…11 blocks…a total team effort that had Cal smiling after the 79-65 win.
