Lane closures scheduled for Georgetown Rd and US 25

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lane closures are scheduled for Georgetown Road and US 25 in Lexington this week.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it’s a temporary closure for base (asphalt) failure repair operation.

Thursday, July 25 through Friday, July 26 – 7 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday

Friday, July 26 through Saturday, July 27 – 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday

On Georgetown Road and US 25, the alternating lane closures will be in effect between Oak Street near mile point 15 and 0.25 miles south of Iron Works Pike and KY 1973 near mile point 21.

There will be flaggers on site to direct traffic.
