London mayor’s race set: Weddle and Orr to face off in general election
LONDON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Controversial London Mayor Randall Weddle and Matt Orr will face off in the general election this fall.
Weddle won a tight primary race, edging out Orr by just 11 votes. Former interim Mayor Traci Handley also ran in the primary.
The city council impeached Weddle last September. Council members appointed Handley to take his place at that time. A court order reinstated Weddle 24 days later.
