Multiple cats, kittens rescued from trailer in Lawrence County

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Lawrence County Animal Care and Control reports that multiple cats and kittens were rescued from a trailer on Monday.

According to officials, the cats were locked inside the home with no food or water.

Officials say the cats were safely removed and taken to the animal shelter for care, but the shelter needs items to care for them, such as litter and litter boxes.
