2 people with life-threatening injuries following multi-vehicle collision on Nicholasville Road

Two people are with life-threatening injuries following an afternoon collision on Nicholasville Road at Pasadena Drive.

Lexington Police first responded to the area just after 3 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a collision, the agency reports. When they arrived, two vehicles were found to have been involved.

Inbound Nicholasville Road remains closed and expected to remain closed for several hours as LPD investigates. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 News Now) — An injury collision, reportedly involving four vehicles, shut down all inbound lanes of Nicholasville Road at Malabu Drive on Wednesday.

Further, Malabu Drive is shut down in both directions, Lexwrecks reported.

Motorists should drive with caution in the area as authorities work the scene.
