Christmas Concert To Raise Money To Help Women Trying To Get Out Of The Sex Industry

A benefit concert will be held on December 3 with proceeds going to the Refuge For Women, a program that provides support for women trying to get out of the sex industry.

The event, called "Twas a Ladies Night Out", will feature music from Amanda Carter, Katie Feola, Amaris Blevins and Darian Sanders. Refreshments will be provided by The Sweet Shoppe at Gourmet Goodies.

The concert kicks off at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 3 at Southland Christian Church’s Harrodburg Road campus.

A group of Georgetown College students helped plan the event.

Refuge For Women is a non-profit, faith based ministry that a provides long-term, residential healing program for women in the sex industry.

"Twas a Ladies Night Out" is open to all women. Tickets are $20 per person. Tickets and information can be found here.
