CHFS holds press conference regarding hepatitis A outbreak

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Cabinet for Health and Family Services held a press conference Friday, supporting legislation to analyze the state’s hepatitis A outbreak.

During that conference, the cabinet also criticized a series of reports from the Courier-Journal, in Louisville, that found the state did not respond well or quick enough.

Courier-Journal Editor Richard Green says, ” we have exhaustively reported the facts…we’ve also had numerous conversations with state officials, and we’ve gone to great lengths to share their opinions and insights.”
