LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Road work is set to begin next week in Lexington’s East Loudon neighborhood.

City officials say starting Monday, March 23, several streets between East Loudon Avenue and East New Circle Road will be milled and paved as part of the MNA Street Stabilization Project.

The project will cover more than 18,000 feet of roadway and is expected to take about one month, depending on weather conditions.

Residents on affected streets are asked to move parked vehicles when paving is scheduled.

Drivers should also expect lane closures and detours in the area during construction.
