Golden Alert issued for missing Somerset woman last seen on Keeney Street

UPDATE: According to the Somerset Police Department, Megan Mahar has been found safe.

SOMERSET, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Golden Alert has been issued as police search for a missing woman in Somerset.

According to local authorities, 35-year-old Megan Mahar was last seen Wednesday night in the Keeney Street area wearing a blue and white dress.

Police describe Mahar as having blonde hair, blue eyes, and multiple tattoos.

Officers say she may be driving a blue Scion passenger car.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
