LG&E and KU launch new energy efficiency programs with rebates for customers
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – LG&E and KU are launching new energy efficiency programs aimed at helping both residential and business customers save money.
Utility officials say one program offers a $50 incentive for customers who recycle old, working refrigerators and freezers.
A second program is designed for eligible business customers, offering discounts on qualified lighting equipment through incentives available at the point of purchase.
Company leaders say the programs are intended to help customers reduce energy use, lower costs, and improve overall efficiency.
