Bluegrass Crime Stoppers: Police searching for suspects in Lexington ATM theft on Tates Creek Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects involved in an ATM theft in Lexington.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched around 5 a.m. on March 9, 2026, to the 4000 block of Tates Creek Road for reports of theft and criminal mischief involving an ATM.

When officers arrived, they found a black Ford F-250 with heavy chains attached parked in a grassy area. Investigators say the ATM had been pulled from its concrete base.

Police later determined the F-250 had been reported stolen.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and observed the truck entering the parking lot around 4:53 a.m. About six minutes later, three individuals dressed in all black were seen running from the area.
