Woman arrested after shooting leaves man injured on West Sixth Street in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One person is under arrest following a shooting Tuesday night in Lexington.
According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called around 8:40 p.m. to a home in the 500 block of West Sixth Street for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested 36-year-old Neffitiri Miller at the scene.
Authorities say Miller is charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence, and is being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
