Teen found shot in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A teenager is taken to the hospital following a shooting in Lexington Wednesday.

The Lexington Police Department says officers were called to the 1300-block on Centre Parkway around 8 p.m. about a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers located a 17-year-old at the scene who had been shot.

Police say his injury was not life-threatening.

Police say the victim isn’t giving them much information and they do not have any suspects at this time.
