GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A police officer needed a tourniquet after being cut during a search for a suspect, according to the Georgetown Police Department.

The department says officers were serving a search warrant on a parole violator at an apartment complex when officer Joey Valdez suffered serious lacerations to his arm from a broken window.
