26-year-old woman dies after falling from cliff in Hardin County
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A 26-year-old woman has died after falling from a cliff in Hardin County.
According to officials with West Hardin Fire and Rescue, crews were called Saturday evening to the area of Sonora Hardin Springs Road in Big Clifty for reports of a fall.
When rescuers arrived, they determined the woman had fallen from a two- to three-story cliff in a remote area.
Officials say the rugged terrain made it difficult for crews to reach the victim.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
