Laurel County man arrested on multiple failure-to-appear warrants

LAUREL COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A London man was arrested Sunday night on multiple outstanding bench warrants, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff John Root said Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Anthony Wagers, along with Deputy Ethan Brown and shift Sgt. Zach Allen, arrested Jonathan Grosswiler, 48, of London around 10:31 p.m. Sunday, March 15.

The arrest happened off Silver Eagle Road, about five miles south of London.

Authorities say Grosswiler was wanted on several outstanding warrants issued by Laurel District Court. The warrants included four separate bench warrants charging failure to appear in court.

Grosswiler was taken into custody and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
