Man arrested after shooting leaves victim in critical condition on Dedman Lane in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One person has been arrested following a shooting Saturday afternoon on Dedman Lane.
According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were dispatched around 12:52 p.m. to a home in the 5400 block of Dedman Lane for reports of a shooting with a victim.
When officers arrived, they located a 66-year-old man who had been shot. Officials say the victim was taken to a local hospital in reported critical condition.
Police say 27-year-old Tristan Johnson was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree assault.
Authorities say Johnson is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
