Safe Ride KY offering discounted Lyft rides for the 4th of July holiday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Safe Ride KY coalition has announced it is offering discounted rides to prevent impaired driving during the 4th of July holiday.

People can claim $10 in ride credits by downloading the Lyft app on their phones, entering promo code SAFERIDEKY4TH19, and ordering a safe ride home.

Safe Ride KY says the credit will work for rides taken between 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, and 5 a.m. Friday, July 5, throughout Kentucky – wherever Lyft services are available, while supplies last.

This holiday will mark Safe Ride KY’s ninth campaign. More than 7,000 Kentuckians have used the discounted rides to get home.
