Governor Beshear hosts 58th annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast in Frankfort
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Andy Beshear hosted the 58th annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast Thursday morning in Frankfort.
The event began at 7:30 a.m. at the William Exum Center on the campus of Kentucky State University.
This year’s theme was “Fostering Unity and Love.”
The keynote speaker was Stephen Boyken, leader of the Hope Initiative.
During the breakfast, the Hope Initiative received the William Cooper Faith and Community in Action Award, which recognizes organizations making a difference through service and faith.
The event was streamed live on the governor’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
