Hope Center of Lexington hosts Full Bloom fundraiser to support homelessness services

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Hope Center of Lexington invited the community to shop for a cause during the Full Bloom fundraising event.

Guests who mentioned the Hope Center at checkout had their purchases included in the event’s total, with 10 percent of qualifying sales donated back to the organization.

Officials say the funds raised will directly support the Hope Center’s mission of helping individuals experiencing homelessness across Central Kentucky.

“They are such a huge part and mean so much to us,” Kara Ball, Director of Development with the Hope Center said. “It’s a great way to bring in donations, find new volunteers, and find new donors to keep our programs going.”

The Hope Center provides several services to those in need, including emergency shelter, recovery programs, and housing assistance.
