Teen killed in three-vehicle crash on KY-88 in Green County
GREEN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police say a teenager was killed in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Kentucky 88 in Green County.
Troopers say a 14-year-old driver was traveling west when the vehicle lost control, crossed the center line, sideswiped a bucket truck, and then collided with a Ford F-350.
The juvenile driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Green County Coroner.
Authorities say one passenger, Angelo Forsee of Russell Springs, was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with serious injuries.
Two other passengers were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the driver of the F-350 was able to escape before the truck caught fire. Officials say neither the F-350 driver nor the bucket truck driver reported injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
