Injury crash shuts down Versailles Road at Man O War in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A crash involving injuries has shut down several lanes near Versailles Road and Man O War Boulevard in Lexington Wednesday.

According to the Lexington Police Department, inbound lanes of Versailles Road are closed at Man O War Boulevard, with traffic being diverted onto Man O War.

Police say the inner loop of Man O War Boulevard at Airport Road is also closed, along with the outbound left-turn lanes from Versailles Road.

The department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit has been called to investigate the crash.

Officials say the closures are expected to last for several hours while crews work at the scene.

Drivers in the area are urged to slow down, use caution, and be prepared to take alternate routes. Authorities say they will provide an update once the roadway has reopened.
