Crews respond to RV fire on Triport Road in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Multiple emergency agencies responded to a reported camper fire in the Georgetown area.
According to officials, crews were called to the scene on Triport Road after reports of a camper on fire. When responders arrived at a gated parking area, they found an RV fully engulfed in flames.
Fire officials say crews quickly worked to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby areas.
Authorities say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
