Lexington police searching for suspect after shots fired call on Jane Street

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Police are searching for a suspect after reports of shots fired in Lexington.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers responded earlier this afternoon to a shots fired call on Jane Street.

Authorities say there are no reported injuries.

Investigators say witnesses saw the suspect head toward a home in the Golfview area.

Police say the investigation is ongoing as officers continue searching for the suspect.
