Salato Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort reopens for new season

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Salato Wildlife Education Center is reopening for the new season.

Officials say the center will welcome visitors starting Tuesday morning, offering the opportunity to see native wildlife up close through exhibits and outdoor walking trails.

Doors will open at 9 a.m., and officials say the first 100 visitors will receive a free poster.

The Salato Wildlife Education Center is located in Frankfort and features educational displays highlighting Kentucky’s native animals and natural habitats.
