Saint Joseph Health awards more than $300K in grants to Lexington nonprofits
LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Leaders with Saint Joseph Health announced more than $300,000 in grants will be distributed to nonprofit organizations in the Lexington area.
Hospital officials say the funding is intended to help improve community well-being and advance health equity across the region.
According to Saint Joseph Health, the grants are part of CommonSpirit Health’s Community Health Improvements Program.
Organizers say eight local nonprofit organizations will receive funding ranging from $20,000 to $50,000.
Across Kentucky, Saint Joseph Health awarded more than $500,000 through the grant program.
