Theft suspect search after alleged car break-in attempt

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Deputies in Laurel County are searching for a suspect who was caught on camera allegedly trying to break into a vehicle.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, a theft was reported after a person was seen on surveillance video attempting to break into a car on Sally’s Branch Road near London.

Investigators say the incident happened Monday, and the search for the suspect is ongoing.

Deputies are asking anyone with information that could help lead to an arrest to contact the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
