Lexington police investigating after man arrives at hospital with gunshot wound

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Police are investigating after a man arrived at a local hospital early Sunday morning with a gunshot wound.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were sent just before 3 a.m. to the hospital after the victim sought treatment for a non-life-threatening injury.

Police say, at this time, no shooting scene has been located.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Lexington police or Bluegrass Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously.

The investigation remains ongoing.
