Kentucky State Police highlight Consumer Protection Week, promote Team Kentucky Stop Scams initiative
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police is reminding residents that Consumer Protection Week runs March 1 through March 7.
State police are supporting Team Kentucky Stop Scams, an initiative focused on helping families recognize scams, report fraud and stay informed through trusted resources and real-time alerts.
Officials say the effort is designed to provide Kentuckians with tools to protect themselves from increasingly sophisticated scams targeting individuals and businesses across the commonwealth.

Kentucky State Police say additional safety information and tips will be shared throughout the week as part of Consumer Protection Week.
