Aluminum wheel maker expanding in Paris, adding jobs

PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – New full-time jobs are coming to Paris as an aluminum wheel manufacturer is expanding its operation in Bourbon County.

The state announced Thursday that Central Motor Wheel of America is adding on to its existing 330,000 square foot plant, adding 145 full-time jobs as part of a $111.9 million investment.

The company plans to add 270,000 square feet on 40-acres.  The new jobs will add to the company’s existing workforce of 550 people.

The company expects the expansion to be completed by July 2021.
