Megan Thee Stallion joins Moulin Rouge! The Musical for limited Broadway run

(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Megan Thee Stallion is set to join Moulin Rouge! The Musical for a special eight-week run beginning March 24.

Megan will take on the role of Harold Zidler, the impresario of the famed Paris nightclub at the center of the production.

Producers say she becomes the first woman to play the character during the Broadway show’s seven-year run.

They also say her performances will include a touch of her own music woven into the show’s pop-infused score.

Megan says she’s excited to push herself creatively and embrace the world of theater.
