UPDATE: Large first responder scene on Hedgwood Ct. cleared

UPDATE: Lexington police are investigating this incident as a suicide. Our crew at the scene confirmed the Fayette County Coroner’s van was there, as well as several police vehicles.

ORIGINAL STORY:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A large first responder presence is reported in the 200 block of Hedgewood Court.

ABC36 has learned fire crews were dispatched to assist police at the scene. Details about the situation have not yet been confirmed.

We have a crew on the way and are working to get more information from Lexington Police.
