Lexington police seek two wanted individuals in Bluegrass Crime Stoppers cases

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington police are asking for the public’s help in locating two individuals named as this week’s Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Wanted Persons of the Week.

The Lexington Police Department is searching for Jhelon Beasley, who is wanted on multiple warrants including failure to appear, possession of synthetic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and promoting contraband. Police say Beasley is also wanted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance involving cocaine, first-degree possession of a controlled substance involving methamphetamine, and several additional offenses.Jhelon Beasley

Beasley is described as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His date of birth is March 4, 1992.

Police are also attempting to locate Preston Wafford, who is wanted on a warrant for probation violation related to felony offenses. Wafford has blue eyes and brown hair. His date of birth is November 30, 2005.Preston Wafford

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either individual is encouraged to contact police or submit an anonymous tip through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers. Tips may be eligible for a cash reward.
