Woman arrested in head-on-crash investigation

LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A London woman has been charged with DUI following a head-on crash on Kentucky 192 in Laurel County that left a passenger critically injured.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says Amber Taylor, 39, crossed the centerline Friday night and struck another vehicle head-on.

Investigators say a passenger in the other vehicle, Trevor Grubb, 31, was airlifted to UK Medical Center with critical injuries.

Taylor was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center and later released on a five-thousand-dollar cash bond. Her arraignment is scheduled for Monday morning.
