17-year-old arrested as suspect in Allen County double homicide
ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a double homicide after two people were found dead inside an Allen County home Tuesday evening.
Troopers say they were called to a residence on Stamps Road just before 7 p.m. by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say a 12-year-old boy and a 42-year-old woman, identified as Traci Trasky, were located deceased inside the home.
According to police, Trasky’s vehicle was missing from the scene but was later found unoccupied on Pleasant Field Church Road.
Authorities say officers used a drone during the search and spotted a suspect running through a wooded area. After a brief foot pursuit, a 17-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody without incident.
Kentucky State Police say the juvenile is charged with two counts of murder, tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking of an automobile, and fleeing or evading police on foot.
The investigation remains ongoing. No additional details have been released.
