School bus involved in crash in Jackson County, officials say no serious injuries reported

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Jackson County Public Schools say a school bus was involved in an accident, but thankfully no serious injuries have been reported.

In a social media post, district officials said all students on board were examined by EMS crews at the scene. Students are now being taken to the Jackson County Board of Education building while parents are contacted.

School leaders did not immediately release details about where the crash happened or what led up to the accident.

Officials say families will continue receiving updates as more information becomes available.
